Clown Convention
July 27-29, 2012
“Save the Date”
The Scottish-Rite Masonic Family Clown unit
is hosting a clown convention in July 2012, to be held in Oil
City, Pennsylvania. We would like to invite all clowns to attend. We have reserved
rooms at the
Arlington Hotel (more information to follow). It will be a time of fun, laughter,
and fellowship with our
clown friends. The Scottish Rite Masonic Family Clown unit is made of masons,
their wives, & children.
During the convention, we will have vendors for clown supplies, i.e., make-up,
magic tricks, and
costumes. We will also be offering workshops on make-up tips, magic, ‘walk-arounds’,
and of course,
ballooning. Plan on participating in the Oil Heritage Parade on Saturday and
end the evening with a
banquet and award presentations. You need not be a Mason to come.
Please join us for a fun time!
Tentative Schedule
Friday, July 27th, 2012 – Registration, fellowship and workshops
Saturday, July 28th, 2012 - Meeting, clown skits, parade, and awards banquet
* The clown skits will be held for the public
in the Brozeski Bandshell at Justus Park - (located behind the
Arlington Hotel)* Time: 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Please limit any skits to 10 minutes.
